Brief Description

This 3 day course follows on from Foundation which must be completed first. The days run from 8:45 and we must have all left by 18:00.

The course covers the theoretical topics of the syllabus before sitting the exam held on day 3. Indicative results are available on the day.

You will want to obtain the Intermediate Licence Manual which is available from the RSGB shop.

Cost and booking

For Intermediate we require a deposit of £50. The total fee for Intermediate, which includes the exam fee of £39, is expected to be between £75 and £90.

There are now no practical’s but we will be doing some measurements of electronics so if you have a multimeter and you can bring it would be useful.

The final fee will be advised about two weeks before the course starts, when we know how many will be sharing the hall hire fee.

We will settle the exam entry fees with the RSGB.
